The 2002 MINI Cooper M12 Bolt uses 5W-30 Full Synthetic motor oil with a capacity of 4.5 quarts (with filter). This is the manufacturer-recommended oil specification — using the correct weight and blend ensures optimal engine protection, fuel economy, and longevity.
