2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse Oil Type

The 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse uses 0W-20 Full Synthetic motor oil with a capacity of 4.5 quarts (with filter). This is the manufacturer-recommended oil specification — using the correct weight and blend ensures optimal engine protection, fuel economy, and longevity.

When changing oil, always replace the oil filter at the same time. Run the engine for 2–3 minutes after filling, shut it off, wait 5 minutes, then check the dipstick and top off as needed. Dispose of used oil at any auto parts store — they accept it free of charge.
